Please click a question below, to read the answer.What is this device for? What is this device for?The device allows you to view 4 cameras at once on the internet without the need for a PC. The cameras can be viewed remotely across the internet through your browser. I have a router, will it work with this?The device should work with most routers. All you have to do is plug into the router with a network cable (provided). All you have do is plug in the power, find the IP address and then you can access the cameras through your browser. What software comes with it?The device comes with software (firmware) already on the device. The software is ok and allows you to view and change settings. It is advisable to view the cameras with Internet Explorer for best results. You can update the firmware with a free upgrade if you prefer different features as have the ability to be viewed on other browsers. Also, you can use the device with both the standard and advanced motion capture devices. However, the advanced motion capture device has a lot more features and flexibility. What frame rate can the streaming run at?The manufacturers claim that the device can run at 30fps (Frames per second). However, we think it is more comfortable to run at 5fps. This gives a good all-round quality What protocols can the system run on?It runs on many protocols includong: HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, RARP, PING, DNS, ARP, DHCP, DDNS, PPPoE Can it work on my Mac?Yes, your mac should be able to view this depending on what browser you use. How many cameras can I connect to the device?You can connect upto 4 cameras and one audio device. Can the device record audio?Yes it can record one audio from one camera at a time.
