How does it work?
The trail camera is a perfect camera to record all forms of wildlife whether in your garden or a remote piece of land. It is a remote camera, powered by AA batteries and can record full colour video clips or stills during the day and black and white versions in invisible infra-red at night.

All you do is take it out of the box, turn it on and hang it or strap it to a tree, point to an animal trail or feeding station. Leave the camera alone to record. When an animal or bird passes the camera, the camera sensor will detect the movement and record a clip of video or stills for a period of time and write it to the video card. You then can return back to the camera to either retrieve the card or move the camera to another location. With this version, it allows you to record full HD video with sound too! You can then easily review the footage by plugging the camera into your PC or removing the card and placing it into a card reader. With XLT HD version, it has a large built in colour screen you can easily review the footage.

Bushnell trail cameras have extensively used as research devices for monitoring endangered species. In 2010, they were used in BBC's Lost land of the Tiger, where Steve Backshall, Gordon Buchanan managed to record the rare Butan tiger using these trail cameras.
